PREVIOUS UPDATE 10 PM THURSDAY:
And so it begins. Even before I can get to bed this Thursday night, the severe weather outbreak has begun. At 9:30 p.m. Eastern, a Tornado Watch is in effect for the Arklatex and points northward. 12 Severe Thunderstorm Warnings are in effect as a beautiful line of storms breaks out. For severe weather to break out at this time of night in January is virtually unprecedented.
