Moderate Risk in Mid-Atlantic

The SPC has issued a Moderate Risk approximately in the area shown below in red; this is the first significant East Coast severe weather day, so people in those areas, and in or near any areas outlined in yellow below, should get ready for the storms. Know where your family members will be today and stay inside during the storms. Local storm chasers such as Henry (PREMIUM | PRO) and myself, however, are rejoicing at our first major severe weather chance of 2008. I have little doubt that we'll have storm videos to show you by days end.
