Wet weather to prevail into this weekend across Germany
Following a largely dry day across Germany on Wednesday, rainfall and chilly winds are expected each day from Thursday through this weekend.
The rain spread over northern and western Germany on Wednesday night before advancing southward on Thursday.
The dry weather will hold across Baden-Wurttemberg and Bavaria until Thursday afternoon when rain will fall from Stuttgart to Munich.

High temperatures will range from 12-14 C (54-58 F) in northern and central Germany with highs reaching 15-19 C (59-66 F)
Gusty winds will accompany the rainfall across Germany, making it feel quite chilly even during the afternoon despite temperatures with a few degrees of normal for early October.
Anyone with outdoor plans will want to be prepared with an umbrella and jacket.

The heaviest rainfall is expected across western and central Germany, where localized flooding and travel disruptions are possible.
“Some areas could get up to 50 mm (2 inches) of rain,” said AccuWeather Meteorologist Tyler Roys.
The heaviest rain will exit Germany Thursday evening; however, gusty showers will continue throughout the country on Friday and Saturday.
Another storm will arrive late Saturday into Sunday with gusty winds and rain again spreading over the country.
Temperatures will be a few degrees below normal both Saturday and Sunday with highs ranging from 9 C (48 F) to 13 C (56 F).
