What has changed about the new AccuWeather.com?The new site has all the same great weather you are used to, with a navigation that makes it easier than ever to find. In short, the new AccuWeather.com is accurate, localized, and easy – now more than ever! And it truly offers Weather for Your Life with forecasts that connect the dots between you and the way you use weather in new Weather and Health, Weather and Travel, Weather and Home and Garden, and Weather and Outdoor Activities.

What has changed in the navigation?AccuWeather.com makes greater use of tabbed navigation with more content higher level. It makes it easier than ever to find what you need quickly. All you have to do is “roll over” the navigation to make the menus appear. (To roll over, glide your cursor over the desired navigation without clicking.)

What’s changed about the home page?We’ve pulled more of the weather content you most want to the top level. Now you can find current conditions for the past three locations you’ve searched, a clickable national radar map, and leading weather news stories all on the home page.

Where do I enter my zip code to check my local forecasts?You use the box at the top the same as the current site. You can enter any zip or postal code and for global locations enter the city and country name. If there is more than one place by city name, it will give you a list of states to choose from with options for Canada, U.K. & Ireland, and the World to go to those sites for international locations.

How do I use the forecast page tabs?Once you have entered your location, clicking on the Forecast tab takes you to a 2-day forecast, with video, radar, and weather news stories relevant for your area shown immediately below. Click on Weekend forecast tab for the coming weekend, Extended forecast for up to 15-days, and Month for a calendarized view of the coming month. You can also roll over the Forecast tab and choose from the pull down options.

How do I find hourly forecasts?Either roll over the Forecast tab and choose Hourly from the pull down menu, or click on any of the Currently tab, then select Hourly Forecast below the current conditions icon.

Where can I find the unique AccuWeather.com RealFeel Temperature®?This unique AccuWeather.com forecast indicator can be found along with Currently, Weekend, and Extended forecasts, so click on those forecast tabs. In Currently and Weekend forecast tabs it appears within the forecast area, in Extended it appears below.

What has changed with the radar feature?The new AccuWeather.com radar feature divides the U.S. base map into handy zones, so you can easily click and zoom to progressively more local maps. In its current form, metro radar exists for major cities only.

Only the largest national map doesn’t animate. You can animate radar maps by clicking on "Play" in the upper right corner of the map. The "old" radar is still available underneath new radar. Click on the small map to make it bigger.

We are planning major upgrades to our radar that will integrate a leading dynamic map logic provider with our radar and allow for a truly differentiated experience.

How do I see satellite images on the new AccuWeather.com?You can either roll over the Radars & Maps tab and choose from the pull down menu options, or you can go to any of the Radar and Maps pages and choose the Satellite tab. As you roll over the national map, new regional zones will appear. Click on those zones to get your regional, state, and even major city radar. Use the tabs to the right to switch between Enhanced, Standard, Visible, Color, and Water Vapor satellite.

How do I see severe weather maps on the new AccuWeather.com?You can either roll over the Radars & Maps tab and choose from the pull down menu options, or you can go to any of the Radar and Maps pages and choose the Severe tab. There are a great variety of Severe Weather Maps including: Watches & Warnings, Lightning Strikes – Past 2 Hours, Today's Severe Weather Risk, Today's Thunderstorm Probability, Current Snow Cover, and Weather Related Flight Delays.

How do I see Forecast maps on the new AccuWeather.com?You can either roll over the Radars & Maps tab and choose from the pull down menu options, or you can go to any of the Radar and Maps pages and choose the Severe tab. There are a great variety of Forecast Maps including: High Temperatures, Low Temperatures, Wind Chill, Heat Index, Wind Speed, Wind Gust, Precipitation, etc. Amount, Precipitation, etc. Probability, Rain Amount, Snow Amount, Ice Accumulation, and UV Index. They can all be set to show the current day to one week away or a Trends map.

How do I get Weather Surface Maps on the new AccuWeather.com?You can either roll over the Radars & Maps tab and choose from the pull down menu options, or you can go to any of the Radar and Maps pages and choose the Weather Maps tab. There are a great variety of Weather Surface Maps, including: Today’s Jetstream, Tomorrow’s Jetstream, and Weather Maps for the next three days.

What are the Lifestyle sections?Information that helps connect the dots between weather and your life. You access them by the tabs on the right hand side of the screen, Health, Travel, Home and Garden, and Outdoor.

What is Weather and Health?Weather and Health provides you with forecasts to help you manage health conditions and plan activities and medication, with aches & pains, allergies, respiratory, and cardiac health information. Each part of weather for health includes a 5-day forecast for your specific health condition as well as weather-related tips.

What is Weather and Travel?Weather and Travel provides you with forecasts to help you plan your Business and Leisure travel. Business and Leisure sections include national maps that show weather conditions for top destinations as well as weather and travel-related tips.

What is Weather and Home and Garden?Weather and Home and Garden helps you plan your home projects. Each page includes a 5-day forecast specific to gardening and DIY and related tips and articles.

What is Weather and Outdoor Activities?Weather and Outdoor Activities helps you plan your fun and exercise. Each page includes a 5-day forecast specific to skiing, golf, beach and marine, or astronomy and related tips and articles.

How do I find the Percent of Precipitation (POP) on the new AccuWeather.com?Once you have reached your city's location on the website, click on the "Extended Forecast" tab. Below the 5-day forecast, click on the "Chance of Precipitation" tab. Here you will find the POP for rain, snow and ice in your area.

Where can I find past weather information?

The past weather information is available under the "Forecast" tab. Click on "Month" to view the current month. You can also view other months by changing the date in the dropdown menu.

Where can I find Joe Bastardi videos?

Joe Bastardi is an active and important part of AccuWeather.com and is contributing to the site more than ever. In order to find Joe's videos you will need to choose the "News & Video" tab on the menu bar and then the "Video" tab underneath that. You can then search the video channels on the right of the screen and sort by broadcaster. You will find Joe Bastardi's videos there.

How can I find My Locations?

If you're looking for My Locations, it has been moved to Recent Locations on the Home page. You can enter new locations into the memory of your browser by searching for the zip code or city and state in the search box. Recent Locations will remember the last three different locations after you've performed a search.

I can't find a product or feature I used on the old site on the new AccuWeather.com.

Most of our great features remain on the new AccuWeather.com, but have been re-located. However, we're sorry to inform you that some features were not immediately carried over to the new AccuWeather.com, such as: My Locations, 15-Day Graphs, Degree-Day data, NWS forecasts

However, the 15-Day Forecasts with hourly temperatures are currently still available on the new AccuWeather.com.

My Locations and and the 15-Day Graphs will be back soon. Their transfer to the new site will be carried over momentarily.

These features are still located on the AccuWeather.com Premium Site. Try the site today, and sign up for a free 30-day trial here.

Will the new website be rolled out for World locations?

AccuWeather.com serves a global audience and takes its mission seriously to save lives and protect property all over the world. We have recently rolled out multilingual capabilities on our global web sites, and we invite users to use them for international locations. We do plan to update the look and feel of the global sites and will keep you informed on when new international features are ready to roll out.

Where can I find the 15-day forecast?

The 15-day forecast is available under "Extended Forecast". Click on "Next 5 days" to advance the view. The RealFeel values are available by clicking on each day in the Extended Forecast.

Where can I find the Forecaster Blogs?

You can now find all of our Forecaster Blogs under the News & Video tab in the menu of our new website. You can find all the great bloggers you’ve come to rely on before the site launch on the new AccuWeather.com.
