February is the perfect month to take a getaway from some of the coldest days in your town and find some warm places to visit. For most US citizens, the practical option is to stay within the country; because international travel can be somewhat of a chore for a quick getaway. Here are some vacation ideas to help nudge you to find some winter sun this cold season.
1- Key Largo, Florida
You can't go wrong by visiting anywhere in the Florida Keys this February, where you will find weather consistently in the mid-70-degree range. You can go deep-sea diving, fishing, or chill out on the beach and enjoy some favorable Florida weather.
2- San Diego, California
San Diego is on the southwest side of the mainland, where you will enjoy the chill west coast vibes and temperatures peaking out in the mid-70-degree range. There are plenty of fun places to go aside from the beach in San Diego, like Seaworld and the San Diego Zoo.

3- Los Angeles, California
Just about 90 minutes from San Diego is Los Angeles. Just remember to stay out of traffic and close to the coast if you are looking to have a good time in LA. You could take the family to nearby Disneyland or California Adventure in Anaheim or take a walk on the Santa Monica Pier.

4- San Antonio, Texas
If you take a February vacation to San Antonio, you are sure to find some sunny weather that is at least in the mid-60-degree range. Don't forget to kick back next to the San Antonio River and visit the legendary Alamo.
