V-Storm: 2 Storms, In Technicolor

In the image above, notice the wind starting to converge in eastern North Carolina, where the Nor'easter will form. Witness the thunderstorms in the Southeast flowing up into the heavy snow in the Midwest. Check out the elongated blue low pressure area, which will transfer much of its energy to the new storm this afternoon.
