Tornado Rampage Update
UPDATE: 11:30 PM: I am uploading some raw radar animations here. Over 18,000 lightning strikes have been detected within 150 miles of Columbus, Mississippi in the last two hours. Below is a screen capture from AccuWeather.com LightningPlus.

So far, 7 tornadoes have been sighted in Mississippi and Arkansas alone. CNN says that tornadoes "shredded homes and stores" in Dumas, Arkansas, injuring several people and throwing "parts of cars in trees." Another tornado was reported in Kansas and one more in Missouri damaged homes (Kansas City Star). And in Bossier City, Louisiana, the NWS confirmed an F1 tornado damaged homes there today. Hail to 2.5 inches in diameter and 70 mph winds have also been reported. And this just in from the NWS at 9 PM Eastern: "HOMES DESTROYED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF TOWN. REPORTED BY CATAHOULA, LOUISIANA PARISH SHERIFFS OFFICE..."
