Graphs, Maps From Wisconsin Flooding
The flooding in parts of Wisconsin this weekend was truly historic. To quote from our news story "Fears of Levee Failure Rise with Historic Flooding": "The Wisconsin River crested at 20.54 feet at Portage, Wis., on Sunday, breaking the old record crest of 20.50 feet set all the way back on September 14, 1938. The graph below shows the Portage river gauge rising to record levels. The Black River at Galesville also broke its record of 16.6 set in 1993.
