CSI: Tornado
This was a good article describing the in-depth storm surveys (or "storm investigations" as I call them) that the government's National Weather Service is doing this week, following the Missouri/Arkansas tornado outbreak. I'll be sharing with you later today some of the photos and write-ups that the NWS has generated.
I've always found storm investigation fascinating because you really do get into that brow-furrowing crime-solving mode. More than once I've stood on a hill overlooking storm damage, seeing the storm before me like Frank Black.
