Weather for the NLCS and ALCS
Game 2 of the NLCS took place Sunday evening, with the the Philadelphia Phillies taking the win over the San Francisco Giants at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
Weather had minimal impact with mainly clear skies and a light breeze. Temperatures dropped through the low 60s as the game progressed.
Game 3 of the series will take place on Tuesday in San Francisco's AT&T Park at 4:00 p.m. EDT. Skies will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s to start the game. Winds shouldn't be a factor, blowing from the west at 5 to 10 mph.
Meanwhile, the ALCS will resume today with the Texas Rangers taking on the New York Yankees in New York at Yankee Stadium. The game will start at 8:00 p.m. EDT. Skies will be partly cloudy with game time temperatures ranging from 54 degrees at the start to near 50 by game's end.
Game 4 will be played on Tuesday in New York at 8:00 p.m. EDT. There could be some rain in the area Tuesday afternoon, which could bring the tarps on to the field.
Skies should be clearing by game time, although there is a chance for a little rain left over for the early innings. Temperatures will be much cooler with temperatures in the low 50's or upper 40's during the game. Winds should be light from the west.
