Warm until this weekend, watching the western Caribbean
Another warm spell is getting underway. Most of the Southeast will remain dry the next several days as high pressure stays in control, but along and west of the Mississippi and in Florida, there will be some chances for rain. We're still watching for potential tropical development over the western Caribbean that could come into the Southeast this weekend. Also, we will finally get a another cold front into the Southeast this weekend that cools things down again.
A generally quiet regime will be in place until Wednesday, even though sunshine will be limited in many places by high clouds streaming in from the Pacific. Things change at midweek as a new storm system takes shape...
