Continued low severe cyclone risk
The risk of significant adverse weather impact will continue to be low during at least the next 7 to 10 days in the United Kingdom and the rest of Western Europe. One strong cyclone is expected to unsettle the region on Sunday until Monday, but with at most an isolated adverse impact.
Cyclone #1 will dip south and east from near southernmost Greenland, becoming the heart of a broad, complex Atlantic cyclone from Saturday until the first half of next week. Ireland, southwestern U.K., northwestern France and northwestern Iberia will have localized wind gusts to about 50 mph.
No specific adverse weather threats to the U.K. and Western Europe are identified as of this writing from Tuesday until at least next Sunday.
