Historical Hurricane Harvey Devastates Coast, Floods Inland Texas
Hurricane Harvey came ashore as the strongest hurricane to make landfall in the U.S. since Charley in 2004 (and before that, Hurricane Andrew in 1992). The storm devastated the Texas Coast around Rockport, Port Aransas and Corpus Christi. But before we could even digest the damage, he has dropped more than 2 feet of rain over a wide area around Houston, causing historic, epic flooding. Here's a look at the 3-day rainfall map:
