Long-range pattern clues into November
The unseasonably cold air mass that will set up across eastern Canada early next week will linger through the first half of the week and then ease toward the end of the week as the flow of chilly air from the north is cut off.
A noticeably milder pattern relative to normal is expected to set up across central and eastern Canada for the last week of this month.
The Pacific jet will likely be directed right into BC and the Pacific Northwest (typical La Niña) at the end of the month and into early November, which may send several moisture-laden systems into the West Coast.
