A rapidly strengthening storm will bring snow and possible blizzard conditions to southeastern Massachusetts, while the Boston area will be on the northwestern flank of the heaviest snow this weekend. Snow will begin Sunday and last into Sunday night, the exact accumulation highly depends on the track of the storm. Currently any snow totals nearing 6 inches will be most likely across the Cape and Islands, while snow very little if any snow will fall across Vermont and central Massachusetts. Strong winds near the coast, combined with high astronomical tides, will lead to moderate coastal flooding.
