Minneapolis: Milder temperatures to follow chilly weekend
After a chilly, but seasonable weekend, above-average temperatures will make a return to the Minneapolis area early in the new week.
Milder air is expected to surge into the region at the beginning of the new week.
Highs will jump 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit above average, into the upper 40s on Monday and the low 50s on Tuesday. The normal high for this time of year in the city is 43 F.

Normal highs rise fairly rapidly in March, about 2 degrees Fahrenheit every couple of days.
While sunshine will be limited by clouds, dry conditions will allow Minneapolis residents to get outside and enjoy the milder weather.
A front moving through will bring the return of rain, cooler temperatures and perhaps some snow to the city at midweek.
