Massive Severe Outbreak Expands
UPDATE 5 PM Central:
I can't believe I'm even saying this, but over 500 Severe Thunderstorm Warnings have been issued today. This crushes the former record of 435, set on June 6th, 2005 (since I began keeping track in Winter 2005).

It's going to be a crazy Friday night, folks.
At 4:00 Central, over 340 Severe Thunderstorm Warnings and 60 Tornado Warnings have already gone out today. A dozen tornadoes have been reported in Tennessee.
Supercell thunderstorms are breaking out from Louisiana to Ohio. This outbreak is going down in the record books. In fact, we've already past the highest number of Severe Thunderstorm Warnings issued in one day this year (from the March 12th outbreak).
CNN has live footage on-air of tornado damage from WKRN at the moment from WKRN in Nashville, TN.
