Forums Abuzz About Upcoming Eastern Storms
The AccuWeather.com Forums are abuzz this morning with commentary regarding a couple of upcoming East Coast storms which could bring significant winter precipitation. Join the conversation today!
Storm #1 (Midwest/OV/GL | Northeast): A clipper-like system will slide eastward from southern Minnesota into southern New York and New England between Thursday and Saturday, according to the DGEX model (I posted a Great Lakes and Northeast map).
SLEET STORM OF HISTORIC PROPORTIONS?
Storm #2 (Midwest/OV/GL | Northeast): The much-rumored "Easter Storm" looks like a sleet storm of historic proportions for the Ohio Valley, and might bring heavy snow to the major cities in southern New England, according to the overnight run of the GFS for which I posted some maps.
YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD CLIPPER
Storm #3 (Midwest/OV/GL* | Northeast): The models have been off and on talking about the possibility of a major storm towards the end of the month. It's ridiculously far out to be pontificating of course... but that hasn't stopped our Forum readers or even AccuWeather.com Professional's Joe Bastardi [BIO] (PRO).
*Midwesterners are too smart to have started talking about this storm yet.
