A Good Day for Asperatus Clouds

UPDATE: Here is a timelapse video of the clouds (view in 720p high quality on YouTube):

The fight between dry air at the surface and rain held in the clouds aloft afforded for a bonanza of Asperatus Cloud photos here in State College, Pennsylvania, home of AccuWeather HQ [Google Map].

I happened to be up for a morning walk when I noticed them around 6:30, but then I was out with the camera for hours snapping pics and put together some panoramas. You can view all of the photos on our Photo Gallery. Expect some timelapse videos later tonight or tomorrow.
