Here is our snowfall prediction map as of Thursday morning. With tight northern and southern edges, even a slight change in the size and/or track of the storm will make a big difference.:

This video steps through the storm scenario as outlined by the GFS ensemble mean run from last night. I think it has done pretty well on this so far.
This is going to be a very big storm from Virginia to southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with snowfall rates high than 2 inches per hour at times. If you have to drive once the storm begins, a survival kit is a good idea. Just imagine there is a mishap ahead of you, and you get stranded and help can't get there too fast because of conditions. Look what happened in the D.C. area last night with less than an inch of snow.
