Severe Storms Today Followed by a Quieter Weekend

Comments

Severe storms will increase again today and last into tonight. The storms will produce damaging winds and hail. A tornado or two is possible across parts of northern Missouri where the shear will be the greatest along the warm front. The image below is of the HRRR simulated radar showing the storms and rain across the Midwest. I would image looking at the image flash flooding may also occur due to the heavy nature of the rain.
