Powerful beauty of Mother Nature captured in man's mesmerizing time-lapse film
Mother Nature performed a couple of magnificent light shows in Australia recently and a videographer caught footage of the spectacle in the sky and turned it into a mesmerizing short film.
Photographer and videographer Benjamin Broady captured the footage of the stormy skies developing across the Kimberley, Western Australia region.
"If there is storm activity within a 100 km (about 62 mile) radius of Kununurra, I cannot rest, everything I'm doing is put on hold for the chase," Broady said in an interview with AccuWeather.

The video was captured in multiple locations in the Kimberley, North Kimberley Coast, Lake Argyle and Kununurra during the months of January and February of 2019 and makes for stunning 4K visuals in his film, which runs a little short of five minutes.
"Since the storms are always scattered and isolated in Australia's far north west, visual confirmation is my best tool for storm chasing," Broady said.
He added that he also uses radar products to help him track the specific direction a storm is taking.
"I do use the Bureau of Meteorology rain radar, storm tracker and Himarawi satellite to track their direction so as I know where to setup for the chase," Broady said.

According to reports, stormy weather hit this region in late January 2019, which is the middle of summer in Australia.
Broady said he likes chasing other weather events but has a particular favorite.
"If there is a cloud in the sky, I'm out there, but mainly cumulonimbus cloud structures are my favorite to capture," Broady said.

Broady has been able to shoot storms without any equipment malfunctions.
"I've been lucky, no dramas yet with equipment," Broady said.
Broady published the film to his YouTube channel. This channel contains videos of similar content and he also regularly posts similar videos and content to his Facebook page and Instagram page.
