Warmer in the Northeast today, but will it stay through the weekend?
The answer to the headline question is no for most of the region. In New England, any mildness will retreat tomorrow. From New York City to Philadelphia, tomorrow should be warm but Sunday will be cooler. The cooling farther south will be less. Here is this morning's Northeast map. Note the big difference in temperatures between the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley.
