Northeast to stay stormless and warmless through the weekend
The surface map that shows a cold front advancing eastward from the Great Lakes. It is helping to organize several areas of snow showers, and these will proceed eastward about as far as the Appalachians. A large storm that will cross the Southern states still seems unlikely to come up East Coast. The following map shows the morning pressure pattern across the Northeast. It is followed by my video of the day.
