Best-Selling Calendar App Brings AccuWeather's Superior Weather Forecasts Directly to Users' PCs Flexibits Releases Fantastical for Windows
STATE COLLEGE, PA / HUNTINGTON, NY - October 29, 2024 - Flexibits today introduced a new, much anticipated app to its lineup, Fantastical for Windows, bringing AccuWeather's superior weather forecasts directly to users' calendars.

Fantastical for Windows is here and includes one of the top feature requests from users: Weather at a Glance powered by AccuWeather’s superior accuracy. Fantastical for Windows brings advanced AccuWeather forecasts directly into your calendar. You can also see the expected temperature in the details of your upcoming events based on the event location. AccuWeather’s MinuteCast® forecast has changed the way users view their forecasts, providing greater precision and detail with precipitation forecasts with start and stop times up to two hours ahead for any location. MinuteCast® also integrates with Fantastical's time to leave notifications, so you'll never forget to take your umbrella with you.
"Weather is central to how people plan their lives and core to AccuWeather's mission of helping people make the best weather-impacted decisions," said Ezra Nanes, AccuWeather's Director of Enterprise Account Management. "We're proud to work with Flexibits to bring the most detailed, accurate, and actionable weather information to the Fantastical Community, now on Windows."
“Our mission is making apps that make people more productive," said Michael Simmons, CEO and President of Flexibits. "Fantastical for Windows is one of our top user requests and today, PC users can experience our apps and be more productive.”
In addition to Weather at a Glance, Fantastical for Windows includes user favorites like:
Fantastical Scheduling: Openings, Proposals, and RSVP are all available with Flexibits Premium in Fantastical for Windows. Openings let users share their availability with recipients, who can then book a meeting with a free slot from the organizer's calendar. Proposals lets organizers suggest a handful of alternative days and times for an event, and see which time receives the best response from invitees. RSVP makes it easy to invite others to an event with control over yes/no/maybe response types, number of participants, and registration deadlines.
Task Support: Users can manage tasks from Google Tasks, Microsoft 365 tasks, and Todoist in the dedicated task view, and can view dated tasks with events in the main calendar views. Tasks can be quickly created by starting sentences with "tasks", "todo", "reminder", or "remind me to." Users can also add dates and times to their tasks.
Interesting Calendars: Fantastical for Windows includes our comprehensive collection of calendars for holidays, sports, TV, and much more. Add these calendars to Fantastical for Windows with one click to stay on top of what's happening. Powered by SchedJoules, Fantastical's interesting calendars make it easier than ever to add events relevant to you.
The launch of Fantastical 4.0, alongside the new Fantastical for Windows app, is the next step in further distinguishing Flexibits Premium as an industry-leading productivity platform.
