AccuWeather Announces Appointment of Edward Van Saders as Chief Financial Officer

Since joining AccuWeather in September 2014, Van Saders has overseen all financial responsibilities and stewardship at AccuWeather, serving as a member of the enterprise’s executive committee to lead and guide global growth. He leverages more than 20 years of finance leadership experience to support AccuWeather’s continued rise as the global leader in weather data and media.
Van Saders has worked with global enterprises, media leaders, and venture-backed startups through all types of major changes, including acquisitions, mergers, and periods of global expansion. He was CFO at TV Management, an umbrella company overseeing a group of broadcast and cable television assets including WRNN (NY broadcast channel) and FiOS1 News (Verizon). Van Saders has also served as the CFO for the digital entertainment brand Heavy.com as well as EcoMedia, an environmentally focused media firm (now a part of CBS). He began his career in media finance with Jim Henson Productions and subsequent roles at the Fox News Channel and NBC-Universal.
The CFO Playbook for Private Companies Summit offers two days of finance and corporate learning event with intimate, expert-led workshops. Van Saders will present on the first day of the summit at 9:00 am on November 20th in the JW Marriott Hotel, Miami.
