Blizzard to Hit the Plains and Head Northeast
Comments
The New England storm is what it is. It's a moderate to heavy snowstorm. The map below is from our Mets, which I agree with.
The next storm coming out of the Plains will produce a blizzard for parts of Kansas and Oklahoma and perhaps northern Texas. That area of snow will continue to move more to the northeast. As a secondary develops, we will see more snow for the Northeast. Severe weather will be on the south side of the storm and it could get nasty across the South Monday, with damaging winds, flooding rains and tornadoes.
