May to June: Cool to Warm in Northeast

In today's video we look at why it is cool in the Northeast, then why a warming trend is likely for the first few days of June.


The upper air flow for the Northeast is northwesterly (from the northwest) as we close out the week, as shown the first map (left). The second map (right) shows the projected flow for Sunday night, and the northwesterly current has been replaced by flow from the southwest.
