Severe weather and perhaps a blizzard next week
The issue next week will be the storm that will occur. The storm is part of a change in the pattern that could mean springlike weather across the Plains and Midwest by mid-month.
My concern for next week will be for severe weather across the lower Mississippi Valley and the South Tuesday into Tuesday night. At the same time, snow and perhaps blizzard conditions will hit the northern Great Lakes.
The storms that do occur could produce damaging winds and tornadoes as the dew points will be well into the 60s. So the fuel is there and the severe weather parameters are there as well.
