Detriot: Sunshine to Replace Storms This Weekend
After a cool and wet end of the week, drier and brighter conditions are on tap for Detroit this weekend.
High pressure will build across the region late in the weekend, resulting in milder air and increasing sunshine creeping northward.
Temperatures could rise into the middle and upper 60's by the end of the weekend, which is 5-10 degrees above normal for this time in April.
However, changes are on the way as an approaching cold front will send wet weather towards the city for the start of the work week.
Showers are expected to work their way east during the day on Monday, and it will become breezy in the afternoon with the approaching storm system.
The wet weather will be short-lived as the cold front will quickly progress eastward, allowing sunshine and dry conditions to once again return to the area for the middle of the week.
