Weather enthusiasts from the Facebook group visited AccuWeather HQ for a tour and severe weather seminar in August 2018. Formerly known as the "Pennsylvania Storm Chasers" group, I created it in 2009 on Facebook to stay in contact with weather enthusiasts across the state. In 2015, the 5,000-person group was inadvertently deleted by a Facebook bug, so I created PAWW from scratch and it has now risen to over 3,000 members.
On August 12th, 2018, 15 members from across the state ventured to AccuWeather HQ in State College, PA. They received a tour of the building, swag bag, and a presentation on how to be a better storm spotter or chaser. That presentation is available for download at this link.
