AccuWeather.com Mobile Web Site Now Offers Forecasts in 33 Languages and Dialects

AccuWeather.com Mobile has become the first mobile web site to serve its worldwide audience with such a wide range of languages

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. August 5, 2009 – AccuWeather.com, the World’s Weather Authority®, today announced that it has launched new languages for its global mobile web site for a total of 33 translations, including three dialects of Chinese, three dialects of Spanish, two dialects of Portuguese, and two dialects of English.

The mobile web site provides a wide range of forecasts and indices for locations all over the world. Until now, it has provided them only in English.

The new range of languages on the mobile web site includes: – Arabic – Brazilian – Catalan – Chinese - Hong Kong – Chinese - Simplified – Chinese - Taiwan – Czech – Danish – Dutch – English – English UK – Finish – French – French Canadian – German – Greek – Hebrew – Hindi – Hungarian – Italian – Japanese – Korean – Norwegian – Polish – Portuguese – Portuguese – Romanian – Russian – Slovak – Spanish – Spanish - Argentinean – Spanish - Latin American – Swedish – Turkish

Free content available on the mobile web site includes exclusive AccuWeather.com 15-day forecasts, current conditions, hour-by-hour forecasts for up to 48 hours, satellite images, and the ability to store up to ten locations. The site supports both English and metric units.
