Los Angeles: Sunny days in store through Easter Sunday
High pressure will remain in control across the southwestern United States through Easter Sunday and will bring sunny days and clear nights to the Los Angeles area.
"It will be dry and warm for Easter weekend," AccuWeather Meteorologist Dan Pydynowski said.
Highs through Sunday will be in the mid-70s, slightly above the average of 71 F for the end of March. The weather will be perfect for any afternoon Easter festivities.

By early week, a storm will sink southward along the West coast and bring a shot of cooler air and perhaps a few showers to Southern California. However, any rain that falls will fail to put a dent in the drought.
"A storm moving into the region will bring nothing but a brief shower or sprinkle during the early part of this week," Pydynowski said.
Any shower will be a welcome sight across the region as downtown Los Angeles has only received 0.03 of an inch of rain since March 12.
This shot of cooler air will only allow highs to reach the 60s for much of next week.
There is a low chance any significant storms will bring heavy rain to Los Angeles into the first week of April. April typically begins the dry season for Southern California.
