Radar, Sat, Lightning From MCS Over Oklahoma
An impressive thunderstorm complex, probably an MCS [JessePedia], is over Oklahoma and northernmost Texas this morning - dropping a lot of lightning and heavy rain. Street flooding was reported in Franklin, TX and Kiowa and Tillman County, OK. The intense lower middle line in the storm dropped 1" diameter hail in Chillicothe, Texas, where 60 mph winds were also reported. Hail to 1.25" was observed in Waurika Lake, OK. Below are radar, lightning and satellite images from MapSpace™ (formerly known as Enhanced Radar), downloadable as hi-res wallpapers.

NOTE: The "lightning" data is from a future version of MapSpace which is not yet available to the public.
