Photos: Big Storm Hits Europe
A storm named "Emma" battered Europe late in the week. The UPI says"A winter storm with winds of more than 100 mph cut a swath of destruction across Europe from Britain to the Czech Republic, killing at least nine people. Four people were killed in Austria, three in Germany and two in the Czech Republic, EuroNews reported. Most of the deaths were caused by falling trees or flying debris."
