Weather favoring the spread of wildfires will increase over California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona Tuesday into Wednesday.

Firefighters are gaining ground on what is now the most destructive fire in Colorado history.
Gusty thunderstorms will rcontinue over the western Plains, Midwest and Southeast Tuesday evening. Wind, hail and isolated tornadoes are possible, along with heavy rain.
Heavy showers and thunderstorms brought flooding rains to portions of the Rio Grande Valley Friday night, threatening area residents and forcing evacuations.
