The Minnesota Wild have fired head coach Mike Yeo, the Star Tribune's Michael Russo reported Saturday night, after the team fell 4-2 to the Boston Bruins, losing their eighth-straight game.
Yeo, 42, tallied a 173-132-44 record with the club, and won two playoff series but never made it past the second round.
The Wild are currently 6th in the Western Conference and have gone 1-7-2 in their last 10 games.
An interim coach has yet to be named.
