Tropical troubles this week
Tropical systems will lead to soaking rains in parts of the South through the first part of the week. Parts of Texas, Louisiana and Florida will see the the worst of the rain. The developing storm moving into Florida tonight has a chance to gain strength once it reaches the Gulf of Mexico and then heads toward the Gulf Coast. Farther west, a weak tropical low pressure area will cause the heavy rains back in Texas and Louisiana. Areas not affected by these two features look to remain hot and muggy with not much in the way of rain through this week.
