Severe storms today will impact the Tennessee Valley with hail and damaging wind gusts. Some of the simulated radars show a squall line going through Tennessee bringing high winds and hail.
The storms are the start of a nasty pattern of severe weather that will last through the next two weeks. The operational models show a series of storms moving through the southern Plains, each one producing severe storms. How many tornadoes occur remains to be seen.
