No signs of development within the Australian Basin into next week
There continues to be unsettled weather south of Indonesia and a weak low may form within this area of clouds and convection this weekend. Any low that forms will remain weak and drift westward so it is unlikely to become a cyclone or impact Australia.

The remainder of the main development areas continue to be quiet with only clear to partly cloudy skies. These areas will remain largely settled with no risk of development through next week.

Well to the east, a tropical low continues to become better organized to the northwest of Fiji. There is low to perhaps medium chance for this low to become a tropical cyclone over the weekend. Conditions look to become a little more hostile early next week, so any feature near Fiji at the time should begin to weaken. Regardless, this tropical system near Fiji poses no threat to Australia.
