NFL Thanksgiving Day: Dry, cool weather forecast as Giants visit Redskins
The NFL will continue its time-honored tradition of playing on Thanksgiving Day with three games that will help shape the league's playoff picture.
As is custom, the Detroit Lions will host the first game of the day, while the Dallas Cowboys host the second. With both the Lions and Cowboys stadiums having roofs, weather will not impact play during those games.
The only outdoor game will take place at night as the New York Giants travel down Interstate 95 to meet the Redskins at FedEx Field.

Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions - 12:30 p.m. EDT
It will be a chilly Thanksgiving morning in Detroit for tailgating before the Vikings take on the Lions. The game will be played indoors at Ford Field.
Temperatures will be in the low to middle 30s, reaching 37 degrees Fahrenheit at kickoff. Skies will be partly sunny throughout the day and it will be dry.
The weather should not pose any challenges as fans travel to and from the game.
Los Angeles Chargers at Dallas Cowboys - 4:30 p.m. EDT
Nice weather is expected in Arlington, Texas, on Thanksgiving Day with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the middle to upper 60s F.
It will be around 67 F at kickoff, and will fall to around 60 F by the end of the game.
If the roof at AT&T Stadium is open, fans will want to consider bringing a sweater or light jacket.
New York Giants at Washington Redskins - 8:30 p.m. EDT
An NFC East rivalry will take center stage on Thanksgiving night as the Redskins host the Giants at FedEx Field.
Dry and cool conditions are expected Thursday evening outside of Washington, D.C, so fans will want to bundle up for pregame tailgating and the game itself.
The high temperature will be around 40 F before dropping into the middle 30s by kickoff. A modest dip to 33 degrees is expected by the end of the contest.
