New European Forecast Model Content!

We are very excited to tell you about two new ECMWF data products that we've recently added on the Professional site! In this video, I describe what is available from both the Ensemble Prediction System's Control run (which goes out 15 days in the future) and the ECMWF monthly forecast system (which goes out 32 days into the future)!

We think you will like this data to give you awareness of potential extreme weather events in the 10+ day time window.

With numerical forecast models that go out this far, it is always best to look at large scale features (troughs, ridges etc) as opposed to individual day by day details as sometimes significant errors can occur.

You will notice that many of the parameters you are used to looking at (surface pressure, precipitation, 850MB temperatures, 500 MB height etc) are all available from both of these new model simulations as well.
