In her role, Molly tackles complex global weather patterns and communicates their intense impact efficiently and effectively. Molly’s expertise helps viewers plan their daily lives, aiding the safety of families and property on a global scale.
Molly’s engaging, interactive weather broadcasts have been featured on ABC World News Now, and AccuWeather Live. She has also been featured on Lifetime Network’s Balancing Act, Bloomberg Business, and FOX Business. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University’s School of Communications, Molly worked diligently to perfect her skills in weather broadcasting and communications. She immersed herself in opportunities to forecast the weather with nationally acclaimed meteorologists and was awarded the opportunity to learn best broadcasting practices at an Emmy-nominated newscast, the Centre County Report. Molly is currently working to earn her Master’s Degree in Applied Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
Molly’s passion for extreme weather conditions grew when she personally experienced the destruction and chaos that weather can create while trapped in Myrtle Beach, S.C., during Hurricane Charley’s landfall in 2004. At that moment, she knew that she wanted to broadcast the weather and give the public advanced warnings needed during extreme weather to help their lives.
A lover of all things outdoors, Molly enjoys running and taking long walks outside in her spare time. She also enjoys swimming, baking, and collecting old cameras; Molly is an avid Penn State Nittany Lion fan.
