Appalachian Snow Totals

Here's something for y'all to chew on, snow totals for the Virginia and North Carolina mountains from this morning. These are just examples, a lot more places had at least a coating that are listed above, and I got reports of flurries from a few readers in North Georgia. Let me know if you live outside the general area outlined in the table but you had a significant accumulation (I know there must have been some accumulations in Tennessee, but I don't see any reports of them). I'd like to hear if anyone in the Carolina or Virginia foothills saw any flurries; I haven't seen any reports, but some radar echoes survived over the mountains this morning. Even better, you can report your snow totals in SnowMatrix, run by fellow UNC-Asheville alumnus and fellow blogger Jesse Ferrell (Premium)(Pro). Also, I have seen reports of up to 4 inches in West Virginia.

Oh, and I saw reports of snow and sleet mixing in with the rain in southeastern Virginia yesterday evening, but I didn't see any reports of accumulations there.
