Ice Cover basically gone over the Great Lakes

Lake ice over the Great Lakes is practically gone for the season, which is incredibly early.

The Canadian Ice Service image below shows the ice concentration over the Great Lakes as of two days ago and all that is left is some small pockets of 1/10th coverage. By next week it will probably be completely gone.

The next image shows a chart of the percentage of the Great Lakes covered by ice over the course of this season. As you can see, there is almost nothing left, normally at this time of year there is still about 17% of the Great lakes is covered with ice.

How about the sea ice concentration around Atlantic Canada?

Red is below normal sea ice concentration, while blue indicates a higher concentration of ice compared to normal.
