Cool and damp to sunny and pleasant in the Northeast
Thursday June 13, 2019

This day is cooler than average for June from Pennsylvania into New England, and no real summer heat is immediately imminent. In fact, the satellite picture shows more showers (and in some areas thunderstorms) on the way as a low pressure area and frontal system move through the Northeast between now and early tomorrow:

By Saturday, a high pressure area from the Plains will be moving into the Eastern states. While Saturday should start cool, it will feel like June under sunny afternoon skies.
