Ship with 12 crew members capsizes amid storm in Black Sea
A cargo ship capsized amid a storm in the Black Sea on Wednesday. Only one of the 12 people aboard have been rescued so far.
The ship was carrying grain from southern Russia to Turkey when it capsized early on Wednesday near the Kerch Strait, according to the Associated Press.
The ship had departed from the port city of Azov, Russia.

As the storm was tracking from the Black Sea into southeastern Russia, sustained winds averaged 24 to 42 km/h (15-26 mph) consistently for about 12 hours starting at 5 a.m. MSK on Wednesday (10 p.m. EDT on Tuesday) at Rostov-on-Don, located inland from Azov.
Sustained winds, however, peaked at nearly 54 km/h (33 mph) at 11 a.m. with gusts to 70 km/h (nearly 44 mph).
Similar winds were recorded at the coastal town of Anapa, Russia, located closer to the Kerch Strait.
Such winds would have churned up rough seas on the Black Sea.
Gusty winds and rain have eased, but the lull will not last long. Another storm arriving from the Balkan Peninsula will once again kick up gusty winds and rough seas starting on Thursday.
