With apologies to Houston, and the entire eastern Texas and western Louisiana area, which has suffered through multiple flooding episodes in the last year, I announce that more flooding rains are in progress, and more is on the way.
24-Hour Doppler-Estimated Precipitation charts showed over 6 inches had fallen so far, fortunately mostly offshore, but that will not be the rule over the next 36 hours.
