8 PM: Here's a longer list of snowfalls. One person was killed in Acushnet, Massachusetts but the NWS is issuing some contradictory statements there. They are quoting "0.0 inches" of heavy snow downing limbs and trees. Very confusing.

11 AM: My apologies, our website is experiencing some issues today due to the high traffic. Up to 4.5" of snow has fallen in New York State, and its snowing heavily in New York City (check out the webcams!) Much of Pennsylvania and other areas are receiving a mix. Details can be found on the Forums - what's it's Here are some "wallpaper" shots of our storm this morning:
8 AM: As Henry pointed out, there has been some thundersnow in the Midwest as thunderstorms move up into the snow. Here's a look at the lightning strikes (darker means older):
This is from our GIS Pro Business Site though you can also get lightning data from AccuWeather.com LightningPlus.
6 AM: As I said in the Forums this morning, even though I was disappointed to see nothing on the ground this morning here in Central PA, the storm is still coming, and it's actually in the place that the Hi-Res WRF said that it would be this time of day, so its predictions are still on (check out the model loops from last night). Some winter precip is now spreading into western PA. It's a nice looking storm...
