Articles like this one from Friday are going to be popping up all over the media scope when the calendar clicks forward to August tomorrow.
BUT REMEMBER... we're only at the beginning of the average graph and the average season should have only brought one named storm so far. So we're on track. Yes, last year we had seven named storms by now, but no one has suggested yet that this season will reach last year's incredible records.
Come September 1st and we still haven't had anymore storms -- then we'll be worried (forecast-wise). Meanwhile, don't believe the media hype.
